What is a BOTOX® Shot?

"BOTOX® shot" or "BOTOX® injection" are the terms most widely used to describe the procedure of adminstering the Allergan BOTOX® Cosmetic treatement. BOTOX® shots utilize Botulinum Toxin Type A to treat wrinkles. BOTOX® Shots were originally slated to treat neurological disorders; today, BOTOX® shots are widely and successfully used to remove facial lines, especially frown lines, "crow's feet," and forehead lines.
